BI Scheduler
How to run and configure BI Scheduler
Create the schema bi_scheduler in the database
Login as bi_scheduler and create the schema for the BI Scheduler
(Script to create the schema is located in $Oracle_BI\server\shcema\sajobs.oracle.sql)
Go to Job manager (Start>All Programs>Oracle Business Intelligence>Job Manager)
Click on File > Configuration options
navigate to the tab scheduler, sub-tab database and fill in the appropriate details to the data base
where the newly created schema is located.
navigate to the General sub-tab and type "Administrator" in the Administrator Name text box and the Administrator password in the
administrator password and Administrator password confirmation text boxes
navigate to the Mail tab, genral sub-tab and setup the e-mail with a valid server and credentials
navigate to the iBOts tab and specify the appropriate OBI presentation server
navigate to the Java extension tab and specify the appropriate Java Host Server
click OK button and exit the Job Manager
